When I was a relatively new mum, diagnosed with perinatal OCD but untreated, I was searching for anything that would stop the torment and mental agony I was experiencing. Exploitation of people with OCD (or any other mental health disorder) when they are at their most vulnerable is something that really gets my goat! I’ve experienced it and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing when the disorder is hard enough to live with without losing a tonne of money and time to a charlatan (I’m fired up, are you ready?)
